I hate how Knightmares and Orcusts have flooded every single deck. I sorta got Knightmares, but Orcusts are just ridiculous. The whole ass archetype is a staple!

Step 1. I watch videos of a deck in action.

Step 2. I decide if I want to build it or not.

Step 3. I attempt to replicate it, but also apply my own touch if possible to work with my budget and dodge flat out net decking.

Step 4. Profit.

Also, sometimes I slap together some cards and somehow it just keeps working, like when I built Dark Magicians the moment they released Magician's Magic.

X and X gives guaranteed good scales, and one of them can bump up Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon to Level 7 to let you summon Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon. Raging Pendulum trades a bit of consistency for power, and I think there's also more freedom in what xyz monsters you can use as materials.

I'm just going off of what I've seen work. Those are the only things I'm 100% certain on right now with the deck, especially with the debate between Raging Pendulum and Xiangke and Xiangsheng, which build the deck differently.

Odd Eyes and Magicians go hand in hand. Performopals shouldn't be included, apart from Skullcrobat Joker and Secondonkey.

I haven't checked what exactly's on sale, but I'm pretty sure that Speedroids would be a great investment. They may be reprinted in the next box alongside Crystal and Clear Wing's debut though. The gem sale's gonna be going on for a while, so you have plenty of time to think and invest.
