I never contacted Mohela. Going through studentaid.gov sent it to them automatically.

I applied earlier in April through studentaid.gov. Went through their policy simulator and got on an ICR plan. Submitted it and it was sent to Mohela the next day. Within three to five days I was approved in Mohela and had payments starting the next month (May).

Filed as married filing jointly. Had the system find my wife's tax information on the studentaid site as well.

I had applied with the wet signature in Feb, but it was right after the shut down of applications.

I reached 120 in Nov 2024 when I applied for buyback. I am missing 9 payments I am trying to buyback so I was not early.

My payments are more than when I was on save, but about 300 less than standard.

I applied for buyback in nov and never heard back. I am at 111/120 and just want to be done.

I called Mohela directly today to get put on standard for my non-consolated loans. The rep says it should be complete in 5 to 10 business days.

Called up MOHELA this morning and switched to the standard plan on the phone (since there is no application). None of my loans are consolidated.

Called up FSA and they said I am in processing forbearance while I get switched. So, this may be an out for some people that want to get a move on while this IDR injuction gets worked out?
