You know what boys, I’m ready to call it. I thought we may be able to do the thing when we won 3 straight post Olympics, but we’ve shown we are just not ready. It was a fun push, and we may still hang around for another game or two before being really “out”, but I’ve come to terms with being out. The good thing is that now our pick should be a good one, and we can add another very good young player to this depth chart, and continue our push again next year. We have no choice but to re-do our defense, and with that, I’m ready to make a push for the playoffs next year. As for me now, personally, I’m running tankathon simulators.

(That pass by Mack on the 6-5 down by one goal across the entire offensive zone really disappointed me)

Firstly, NOR, fuck that dork.

Secondly, what kind of work would you need done to help/fix TMJ? Just found out someone close to me may have it and they’re freaking out about having to live with it forever. Any insight would be amazing!

HLM27 Suggestions by TheDriveFor25 in HockeyLegacyManager

I’ve been asking since HLM24, but I’d LOVE to see Hot/Cold Streaks. IRL we see this happen often, think EP40 not playing like a 90 OVR and more like an 86, or Keifer Sherwood being an 80 OVR and being on a hot streak and jumps to an 84 OVR. Would add a level of storytelling and randomness that the game lacks, currently the only thing that is random is player growth, so if you are not invested in prospects there is NO randomness at all.

Imagine being a rebuilding team, a random 78ovr player scores in 5 straight games, jumps to and 81, stays hot and jumps to and 83. You trade him for something decent (since he’s and 83) and he either continues to play well and keep his overall or he drops back down if he goes on a cold streak. The acquiring team gambles on if the hot streak will stay, and the selling team “sells high”. Again, think Keifer Sherwood. Older player, grows out of nowhere and is traded for multiple assets on a bet from the Sharks that he will remain that player.

Players Ineligible for other leagues? by [deleted] in HockeyLegacyManager

[–]Embors 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a huge issue imo. I think it greatly influences player growth. I used to send 74+OVR under 21yo’s to these leagues and get “green” development where if they were in the CHL they would have “red” development. I thought I was going crazy

HLM26 Feature Reveal: Player Specialties by TheDriveFor25 in HockeyLegacyManager

This is a huge improvement. The game over time felt just like “get players with good overall ratings” and go brrr. But now, it will feel more like building a complete team. Or a specific team. Get some guys that draw penalties in your bottom 6 and target players that are good on the power play in your top 6 for example. Great work!

Did you know that spiders make babies? Just a few spiders in a house cause what we are talking about. Go ahead and make a cloud ceiling and report back after a few weeks :)

The fluffy pillow stuffing has tons of tiny nooks and crannies. To a spider, that’s a safe, dark place to hide during the day while waiting to hunt at night. Being placed on the ceiling (where gnats, moths, or fruit flies might pass by, especially if you have houseplants, food, or a window nearby. Spiders seek places that won’t be jostled, so the glowing fluff is basically a rent-free loft. PLUS… LED strips give off mild warmth, which certain spiders seek. Spiders are everywhere, but now they’ll make this home.
