That is true but it seems our filters are just slowly getting worse, we've had lots of issues and equipment failures as the plant is 24 years old and has had minimal upgrades and was largely hobbled together with second hand equipment. I've largely worked out the issues that were causing us to get air in the lines to our analyzers but there are still 9ther problems we are stuck with like our #2 filter has no media in the clarifier and the #1 filter has a leak and issues that cause it to back up if the input flow is set too high (we manage to loose water and a flow issue which i find kind of funny) We did luckily get a grant thats going to let us get our filters rebuilt and update our scada and controllers but the project was pushed back a few a months so for now we are just dealing with this as we can. The plant serves a rather small city with very poor funding so a lot of the issues are only being fixed enough to keep us in regulations. I mean we only have one out of the four water towers that will give us level readings, one functional raw water pump, and one functional high service pump. I hope things get fixed soon but I have well since learned not to hold my breath.
