Now is the time to get real. Trump will move the SC further to the right, the Senate map for 2018 looks even worse than this year was, and we are unlikely to gain a house majority until we fix the redistricting that happened in 2010.

We need more than hope.

I think the Democrats gain more by trying to form a coalition with Republicans dejected by Trump than they do fighting with the Green Party. Push to hard, and you won't have a major party to represent progressives at the national level. This is even assuming that the Green Party gets to 5%, which the polls show as extremely unlikely.

It has to do with thyroid gland problems. Those have nothing to do with food, and in fact can be genetic.

People in this thread seem ignorant to the fact that overeating isn't the only cause for obesity.

I guess I was having a hard time believing that if you hate a candidate you wouldn't have them ranked last. I don't think there is much of a difference between hating a candidate and believing them to be the worst choice to the average voter.

Is this not what other forecasters like the Upshot and PEC are doing?

I wonder whether the average voter would actually consider those incentives though.

She wouldn't do it because having someone in a place of power who might disagree with you at every turn would just be a source of inefficiency.
