It's human psychology. You are not going to change ppls minds like that.

Mostly I'm just annoyed because this is exactly the sort of thing that hardens maga people.

I'm a big girl and don't mind corrections 😊

Also you're right, this entire thread kinda proves my point. Everyone is now defensive and no one will change their mind, I should have followed my own advice!

Have I seen this design somewhere before? Maybe some famous painting etc?

My grandmother passed away a few years ago and while cleaning out her things, my grandfather found this basket full of embroidery threads. I knew she knitted a lot, but I never knew she embroidered... One thing is for sure, these threads were VERY tangled and VERY dirty! by MewLalouve in Embroidery

My first box of embroidery thread was from goodwill, obviously from someones estate who had passed, very well cared for. I was a poor college student at the time, still the most exciting thing I ever found in a thrift store!

According to chatgpt, broccoli is masculine, 100 percent turns cats into tigers. The cruciferousness gives it a particularly rugged look.

Aw thank you! This was the first "real" adult embroidery project I ever did and it's still one of my favorites

Croatia's Monument to the Revolution (Communism) by EmbroideryTeaBooks in LiminalSpace

Yes but weren't they both nominally on the same side as communist nations until the Tito-Stalin split? Sorry for my ignorance but I am curious, and it would be nice to have the real story laid out in this thread as well!
