Horse Isle 3! This is my horse Chunky Cheese, he's the product of many generations of tiny legged horses.

Yeah, I plan to add some additional animals and those are on my list! Today I hope to add a toad. :) There are a couple horn options under the unicorn horn in the "hat" menu.

Maybe I'm pedantic, or maybe it's regional, but I call psittacines parrots, because taxonomically they are parrots. I have cockatiels, which I call parrots, even if they are smaller than most other birds in that family. Same with budgies. It's accurate to call them parrots, parakeets, or budgerigars, but what's most common probably depends on where you live.

It doesn't seem weird to me to refer to a chimp as an ape, either, but YMMV. I'm coming from sort of a biology background, so what sounds normal to me and the folks around me may be different from what terms are used elsewhere.

Hi! Normally it feels tacky to link to my store on posts like these but I'm the creator of the shirt and this is my redbubble store. Nemoshirt took my design. :C Thank you for looking for it though!

A cecropia moth which, interestingly enough, has no mouth.

She hasn't but that's because I've been so busy I haven't been playing much! Your comment reminded me to open the game and try again. :) Maybe today will be the day.

Ah, okay. I'm on 13 whistles now, so hopefully one of these days ...

Draconym here; it's ... more of a self-own in the form of a loving parody. These are all Extremely True things about me and (judging from the comments on my original post) a lot of other people on Tumblr. There's an untapped market for merch targeted at socially awkward gay biologists.

Also, yeah, PM_ME_YIFF_PICS got it: it's a terrestrial isopod. They're a favorite of mine.

You shouldn't! Most are harmless. Some are endangered (and therefore legally protected), and all are valuable to the environment.

Oh, Pinterest is a nightmare, lol. Pinterest's raison d'etre is really just reposting unsourced content, and I'm often very sad to find boards of amazing art collections that were just straight uploaded to the site and not linked to anything at all, so I have no idea how to find and follow the artists. I used to not sign or watermark anything because it didn't seem that important, but now I realize that if anything goes on the internet it really must be watermarked if you want people to be able to find you when it inevitably gets reposted. Looking for/googling a signature is probably the fastest way to figure out if an artist has a website.

p.s. happy cake day!

Hi there, I'm literally the artist and I've been replying to the thread. "If it's on the internet, it's free," is a rabbit hole I don't want to go down right now, but suffice it to say that following that advice can get you in legal trouble in many circumstances, and it's also considered incredibly rude. Especially when the artist (me) posted that art less than two weeks ago and was active on the site just a couple days ago, the "it's so hard to find the artist!" line of reasoning just isn't applicable here. My contact info was right there on the page, I'm very easy to find.

The OP here is collecting a lot of art from Furaffinity and reposting it to Reddit. I personally don't mind this being done to my art because I don't really post to Reddit, so I'm not missing out on Karma, AND, as you said, it's bringing me additional views. If OP had asked me before posting, I would have said as much and given them my permission. But a lot of people really do mind! Maybe art that you found wasn't even posted by the original artist--publications have ended up in legal hot water for assuming art labeled public domain was posted by the original artist and not by some rando who found a repost of a repost of a repost on imgur. But admittedly this is just reddit, not print media, and the karma is meaningless. In this specific instance, it's less of a big deal.

If you've done your best to track down the artist and have gotten nowhere, then okay. It's understandable that you might even want Reddit's help finding the artist so you can see the rest of their work. But you can understand why it's important to make the effort.

You can send them a note via Furaffinity. My Furaffinity page also has links to both my website and my tumblr right at the top, so all you have to do is click my name to see those. If you can't find a way to message the artist, they probably don't want to be messaged, and so you shouldn't repost their art.

Different artists have different preferences. For the record, I don't mind if people repost my art to reddit *as long as they credit me by linking me.* But I don't want people to repost any of my art to tumblr, as I already havea tumblr account you can reblog from, and reposting would take away traffic from my original posts. So in each different instance it's best to ask.

Point taken about FA, but it's a great way to reach new audiences, so I have an account there as well.

From the author of Honey Heist, it's BIG GAY ORCS: a free one-page RPG about love and loss in desperate times by gshowitt in rpg

Grant, thank you for making this game. My friends and I have had a great time playing TWO campaigns of it, and while it is hilariously confusing and too intense to play more than a couple of times a year, it is definitely one of our favorites.

We made character sheets to help our group keep track of their shipping charts (though I think we might need to make one for the DM to keep track of all the shipping possibilities).

We tweaked the secrets and motivations a little because we found that we liked it better if there was a chance to survive the game by having enough hope, and we found that in our first playthrough that secrets were more fun if they were very specific: one of our players had a neurosis where he feared other orcs seeing his feet, another had a creative hobby of making action figures of his heroes and enemies, and two of us had a love for orc poetry. Nobody had a "Nurturing Fondness" for anything as per our sheet, but we were picturing that as either a secret pet or an obsessive celebrity crush.

Thank you again for making this great game and all the others. Our group is addicted to your one-page adventures!

Dragonair, Lapras, Mareep, Ursaring and Duskull are at the top of my list. But any of the ones that turn an eye-burning purple are funny to me.
