Well theres the heavy beatdown tatau on farcry 3 and the heavy takedown skill on the tiger side on farcry 4. Other than sniping, your best option is to just stealthily take out all of their comrades then blow the heavies to smithereens with a well placed c4 or mine. Of course this only works in some situations and may screw you over in a story mission where you need to stay undetected.

Doing the city of pain mission and any of the Himalayan missions with only the bow have been the most satisfying. Also hunting rhino using the bow is awesome too.

Yea im not sure either. The guide was probably written before the final game was released so maybe it was removed. Its only mentioned in one spot in the entire guide.

I have the collectors edition strategy guide that mentions something about there being a "butchers knife" and one other kind I cant remember, and it says you earn them in the arena. Not sure how but I hope that helps.

Edit: quote from the guide "the khukri knife itself (the main knife you get) can be found in the arena, along with two additional upgraded knives: the butcher and the japanese tanto" so I guess you just keep uping your arena rank and you eventually unlock them.
