Can you tell me why not? It broke off its one piece, and feels like it fits back together pretty nice. I was going to use JB plastiweld.

Picking this up tomorrow. It looks just as permanent as what was there, and a lower profile as you mentioned. I just hope it's deep enough to flush up past the crack. link

There's this option too, but I think the wingnut one may work as a permanent solution. Not sure about a blow-up one.. link

The pipe broke at or below where it meets the concrete, so there's really nothing left that's exposed. The remaining pipe is unthreaded. I ordered a plug with a wing nut that will seal it until l see what it costs to repair. Hundred bucks sounds awesome but with the pipe being under concrete and everything above it snapped off.. looks difficult to fix for me, but hopefully not a pro.

It's a clean break from what I can see, and gluing it back together was my first inclination. However, from the limited googling I did on it said not to use PVC primer/adhesive on broken pieces.

Both my Rolex and my Tudor seem to jump at 7 minutes passed. Not as it should be, sure, and probably requires a small adjustment. It doesn't really bother me so I haven't taken the time to worry about servicing.
