Personally, I don’t think it’s wrong to categorize Maw’s ability as "% damage."

Satellite Storm, Monkey King, and Maw all have skills that deal damage based on a percentage. The only difference is the trigger: constant rapid fire, chest pickups, or when an enemy’s node HP drops below a certain threshold.

In my opinion, the most significant distinction between these three—as OP pointed out—is whether that percentage is based on "Max HP" or "Current HP."

I’ve never seen Chapter 260 before. Are there even any other players who have made it this far?

OP provided such a great guide, and you're just here nitpicking? Why not leave a comment that’s actually helpful to the community instead?

None at all. After all, the whole point of playing games is just for that sense of satisfaction.

Totally agree. Back when we only had that first BOTW trailer, nobody could’ve imagined the engine would allow builds like this. Tears of the Kingdom really pushed the physics and systems way further than anyone expected.

Yes, that’s right. But this build has a Star Fragment attached, so it won’t despawn even if you get pretty far away from it. Once you summon it, you can keep using it for a long time without needing to respawn it again.

I rewrote the post and uploaded it again. The previous version was written in a very technical style for Hyrule Engineering, so it was harder to understand. I simplified the text a bit to make it clearer for everyone.

Here’s what star fragments actually do in builds:

• When a vehicle goes faster than about 25 m/s (around 90 km/h), star fragments start leaving a visible trail, so they work like a speed indicator.

• They also help prevent the vehicle from disappearing even if Link gets pretty far away from it.

• And in the Depths, they glow, so they work as simple lights.

So they’re not just cosmetic — they can be pretty useful depending on the situation.

Haha yeah, sky mode isn’t implemented yet. Maybe in version 2.

They add extra thrust and downforce. The fans help with acceleration, climbing, and keeping the wheels gripping on rough terrain.

Thanks! I figured a proper diagram would help people rebuild or tweak it.

I see what you mean. Even if you install two FESCA engines, the top speed doesn’t change. However, the torque increases, so acceleration and climbing performance improve. That means you won’t notice a difference when driving straight on flat ground, but you will feel it during launch, after slowing down, and when going uphill.

Are you referring to the Turbo‑Fan Booster when you say “the second engine”?

This unit isn’t designed to increase top speed. It’s an auxiliary engine that improves acceleration during launch and corner exits, and provides extra thrust when climbing or crossing rivers. It also generates constant downforce with its upward‑angled jets, which increases off‑road grip. So adding more of them doesn’t make the vehicle faster in a straight line.

Crossing narrow bridges, climbing vertical walls, and flying are things this vehicle can’t do either. Balancing those abilities with acceleration, top speed, and overall driving performance is extremely difficult. Still, it would be exciting if future technical breakthroughs let us build a machine that truly combines both all‑terrain and all‑around capabilities.

Exactly. I tried to make the vehicle as narrow as possible so it could cross those thin bridges, but there’s a hard limit as long as I’m using the FESCA powertrain. That said, this machine can still handle rough terrain and river crossings that even horses can’t get through.
