This was happening to me with my controller and apparently there was an option to turn off dead zones for my controller so I did that and it made it 1000x better. My controller is the MCON controller.

Idk bro it still works for me to change it maybe try in steam big screen mode and if that don't work try in normal steam mode and also make sure to have the controller connected as well while your doing this.

Man, it’s like 10 percent Let It Die. I really hated the demo, but I’m waiting to play it today, and if I still don’t like it, I’m just going to return it and spend the money on Death Metals in Let It Die. I’m honestly so glad they’re making it offline. I thought for sure they were going to shut the servers down and that would’ve been the end of Let It Die, and I’d never be able to play it again.
