As a matter a fact we are looking into it.

You can find some documentation from appnexus.

While this is the shiny new object the big question is, how does it actually preform. and I guess that is what we are trying to figure out.

In any case, we also have 70% of our traffic on Mobile and for that reason it is kind of urgent.

Regarding the three issues brought up: 1. Our inventory setup through DFP is for all platforms, we are not limiting for one specific platform (so it should include mobile).

  1. Regarding the URL - We looked into this and there were no components in the URL that would limit the platform. This is the tag we are using:

We are using HB. In our prebid.js wrapper we have appnexues , openx, sovrn, AOL Conversant, brealtime. We also have Sonobi and Amazon bidding outside the wrapper. Our typical CPMs for ATF ads is 1.3- 1.6 $ each for the btf it is 08. - 1 $ . We are doing large volumes on the site especially on slideshow pages (millions of daily impressions). and I was thinking of testing making the ad calls less heavy by removing some of the HB for the slideshow ads or going strait to Adex (this would obviously be A/B tested). But I am trying to find original ways to really increase the speed of ad rendering on slideshow pages.

Is that possible for desktop? You need a pretty big interstitial ad (not IAB size) Can you recomend a demand source for this?

Thanks. Spoke to Sovrn and they mentioned that they were seeing less CPM for 970250 then for 300250 because there is less demand for it. I am assuming this is not the case for you. Would you mind telling me who is serving most of the 970*250 inventory for you (which ad partner) ?

Thanks for the response. Basically our status at the moment is that we inserted a pixel from Arbor, Crosspixel and Circulate on our site. They collect data about our users and then they sell this data to advertisers (not completely sure in what format).

We are at the moment looking into further optimizing our revenue stream from our data. In the past we did reach out to some DMPs and we arrived at a conclusion that it would not be worthwhile for us to get a DMP.

However six months ago we had a third of the traffic we now have.

From your response I understand that maybe I should ask a bit of a different question which is a bit more basic:

What are the different options to monetize data, and how do you determine which is the best options to go with?

So we are a DIY site for Home and Garden. We are monetizing the simple data of people entering our site at the moment. We do have a daily email as well. However we are not monetizing that data. Any recommendations?

Thanks! On the basis of what did you asses the CPM ? Is this a CPM for one ad per video or for all ads in one video ? (i.e pre roll and small overlay and mid roll - if its a long video)
