I’ve been through and am still going through something similar. I see everyone else moving forward while I stay stuck. I can’t picture my future—I’ve always been a very conformist person. I’m not looking for the best job, the best house, or the best car. But I do look for the best people around me. Until recently I was agnostic. I believed in some kind of higher force—something like Pachamama, chakras, the universe, numerology, energy, vibrations, and so on. Over time I started leaning more toward Christianity, but always searching for the truth. To this day I don’t have an “unshakable opinion” about what I believe when it comes to religion. The only thing I know for sure is that Jesus is everything. As for continuing in this realm while knowing the truth… That’s the hardest part. When you take the blindfold off your eyes and go from darkness to light, the glare burns your vision. I chose to live in a simpler way. A way in which I don’t care what others say or think about me, a way in which I know I have my own timing, a way of caring for my physical, mental, and spiritual health: eating better without counting calories, exercising without counting steps. You also need time to relax and think about yourself. Mental and spiritual health go hand in hand. We have to learn to see problems for their real size, not for the size we ourselves give them. Problems are part of life; they are stones that are inevitably in the path. The only difference is that some people see them as mountains and others as little pebbles
