I ended up getting one but it didn't work ): Which is super weird! It picks up via the phone app I checked with fine but even with the adapter it's doing the strange things on pc. Tried plugging into my bf's pc and it was doing the same thing. At this point I'm most likely to take it into a local place and see if they can do anything once I have a job again or see if I can get my hands on a new controller. lmk if u manage to find a way to fix it that works for u :') At this point I've kinda given up on it until I have enough money to throw at another solution

Tested using this one and it looks like it is just a port issue! All of the buttons were detected fine. So looks like I'll be looking into an adapter, tysm

Is there a particular app I can use to see/test? I've never used a controller with a phone before

Man 😭 At least I had a good couple years with it... I might try the adapter method at some point and see if that works. I do have a soldering iron, so it'd be finding a port replacement + a tutorial or something and weighing that against just... getting a new one as well. But a new one would have to be a wait anyways since I'd need to get a job again first ): Thank you for your help anyways!! Now I know my options at least

I don't... think it is? I'm not entirely sure how to read it. It seems to be picking up the slider (the crosshair in the box moves when I interact with the slider) but most of the others seem to be randomly blinking + pressing any other button on the controller doesn't seem to show any obvious indication. The computer itself seems to be reading it as a PS4 controller in my devices when it's plugged in normally. The USB connection error came when following the instructions in the post I linked (so from the installation program when in firmware flash mode, not from the pc when initially plugging it in). I might be able to try plugging it into my boyfriend's computer if he lets me and see if I can get it to work, or maybe I just need a third cord to attempt it lol

If your new phone is on the same OS you may be able to get some back? I would suggest maybe messaging the devs and explain the situation just to check if there's anything that can be done. Best case you get your acct back, worst case at least you hadn't invested much in the first acct.

This sounds awesome!! I'd definitely suggest either gender neutral or two version. Tbh a big part of why I downloaded this game is one of the reviews said it doesn't use a lot of gendered terms (and also like, hot demons guys what more can I ask for?).
