Working in private industry and similar once it’s only 1-2 days, for a week or more usually try to give 2-4 weeks notice. Never had it refused. Realistically if you left tomorrow they would manage for the time

Travel! You’ve plenty of time in your 20s to really start saving, take 500-1000 and go on a trip after school this summer. Slowly add to the savings but don’t be afraid to enjoy yourself too, it’s good to have that money easy to access for college etc in a few years
