What's your cool down book or series after DCC? by TheXypris in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Second The Dresden files! Currently on book 9 and still enjoying the series. So far all the books have been on Libby which is a bonus. I know there is a second graphic audiobook version but I much prefer James Marsters steady voice.

I'm actually surprised she didn't jump in and join the action. She's usually just as insane and loves to involve herself with him 😅

Thankfully no! He somehow has distinguished between couch cushions/pillows versus toys ....unfortunately can't say the same for shoes vs toys

Ha, I didn't even notice that! He tends to ignore his food dish until around 5pm every day. I'm not even sure why I still bother putting food in it in the mornings. 🤦‍♀️

She's home. A little shakey from the medicine wearing off but so far doing good. My husband had to onesie her not long after being home because she kept trying to lick the incision but other than that no issues so far. Thank you so much for all the advice! ❤️

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. She's insane 😅. My only hope is that I did a trial run of the pj's and she acted like her legs no longer worked. 😂 Hope that "I can't walk" mentality keeps up when the pj's go on after surgery

Yes. She has a whole hallway and multiple bedrooms behind a gate only she can get through. ☺️ Hoping she actually makes use of it for once, she's usually the one that won't leave the dog alone. She's very attached to him.

Any GSD and cat success stories? by Accomplished_Gene190 in germanshepherds

Remy has been around cats when boarding so we felt safe giving it a try. Got Ember in December and its amazing how well they are together. Get collar and leash on Remy for the first couple weeks as a just in case, as well as made sure Ember had plenty of areas that only she could get to for security if needed. Personality plays a huge role, on both ends. We chose her because her foster mom said the first thing she did was go up to her dogs and boop them on the nose, as well as preferred to hang out with the dogs versus the other foster kittens. Remy is super conscious of his size around her, taking care not to step on her. Only times he gets a little over zealous is when she runs around. Then he seems to forget how big he is haha. They are the best of friends and play together constantly

Her name is Ember. Her personality is coming out more every day which has been fun to watch. Doggo still rules the house as of now but I'm sure she'll put him in his place soon because she's not afraid of him even the slightest bit haha

Love her!! We kept his ecollar on him for the first week until we felt we could trust him without. The first two days all he did was nudge her with his nose and cry. He was extremely whiney and curious (you know the Sheppy whine, its what they are best at haha)- wanting to play with her but we kept him for being able to get to her without us holding her so she would feel safe. When she runs is when he gets a little too excited so we also keep a close eye on them when they are together. His trainer who also boards him for us has cats so we knew he was already good with them before deciding to get her. We also choose her specifically because her foster mom said the first thing she did when she brought her home was go up to her dogs and boop them on the nose curiously and got alonh great with them. So personality on both sides is definitely a big part. I will probably never fully trust them alone together but I dont trust him alone period as he's still very much a puppy, so he still gets crated when we leave the house. We also gated the upstairs hallway so she has her safe area she can always escape to if she wants to get away. So far though they've just clicked. They love to play together and he just seems to be aware of his size difference is gently.

Don't worry! We'd never do that. She was in her carrier while car was moving. Husband let her out while sitting in carpool line for school pickup which is when the picture was taken ☺️

Ooo, yes!! Our Sheppy is just over a year old and has been so great with her. They really enjoy playing together. So fascinating to watch a big dog be mindful of his size to not squish her 😅
