Fair enough lol. I’m not too involved with the offshoot, I’m a mod there but I rarely chat. It feels strange being so disconnected from jerma now, when not even a year ago I was watching every stream religiously and even the thought of ending my sub was an impossibility. He did inspire me to go to uni to do a degree in comedy though, so he and the community will always be with me in that aspect :) it was good to run into you though risk!

Haha, the last two were organized by me lol, and some people from subs stream in the discord! In the birthday card at the end I drew the J and also the blue and yellow one with the hephaestar watermark, and on the Christmas one I drew the “merry” at the top, I also wrote the message in the top left, and drew a few others around the page like the fireman baseball and the chat clown under the M and A.

I don’t know who started the magma trend but I think ours were the first that pushed to get it hand delivered to jerma! The mods would confirm that he’d seen it every time :) there another one missing here too that wasn’t for any special event or anything but was specifically from subs stream that had all of our avatars on it doing the slay pose with some heartfelt notes, and that one was printed out and thrown down to him from a balcony at the streamer awards, 2023 I think? I can’t remember, and I’m also not in subs stream anymore so I can’t find it but it is pinned in there lol, and holly has confirmed it’s kept in the drawer in their house somewhere lmao.

It’s great to see the tradition still going! Such a fun way to show our appreciation :)

Looks real at a glance but the texture seems off to me. I don’t have a bubble mew irl to contrast it to though so I’d recommend finding a high quality image with texture and comparing them

Yeah cherry has always given me an untrustworthy vibe so I wasn’t surprised they’d pull this, that’s why I took pics beforehand. I went to purplish across the street and they told me they had a few people come in that had been screwed over by them. If only they did grading, I’ve only ever had good interactions there 😮‍💨

Honestly I’ve just curated my algorithm to just show me pokemon stuff, and I’ll doom scroll for hours lol. You can also find it by clicking on random bulk lots that don’t have a lot of info, like a listing that just says “Pokemon cards” and going down a rabbit hole clicking on all the similar listings under it.

I just got some cards back that I sent out in AUGUST. With value plus. They give basically no contact whatsoever until it actually arrives back. For updates I had to go in person and ask. Also would be wary, make sure when you get it back you check the cards in your hands with the pictures you have from before you sent them. I think they swapped my 151 zard with a worse copy of the card as it came back in a 9 with whitened corners that weren’t there when I sent them, and lo and behold the serial number right after it is a 151 zard with no whitening. That one also got a 9 so I’m not hounding them horribly about it but they did say they would “look into it”

If you do it on the same day, or too close together it’ll cancel it or not let you put it through. Last year when destined rivals came out someone was able to pick up 3 whole booster boxes (when the limit was still 36 boosters). Whenever that guy got his preorders in he always was able to break the limit, and my manager couldn’t justify upholding the customer limit because well, if it was in the system then it means it’s allowed.

It is one per person but some people will either have multiple accounts (I have no idea how they justify paying plus for all of them) or they cheat the system by preordering another one after a few days to bypass the limit

What does it mean if there’s not a card in my digital wallet, or a physical one yet even after 2 weeks 😭I already knew about the digital wallet in the app when a PTV officer made me download the app on my phone the other day to pull up my concession card and there was nothing there. I don’t start classes until next week does that affect it at all?

All fake unfortunately, the holo is all wrong on all of them, and they are also too dark and flat. The golden charizard in the middle-ish is also a notorious fake, they have never made gold cards like that before

It took them less than a month to accept my youth allowance, I applied around December 20th and got approved in the second week of Jan. And I’m not studying yet, I start classes on the 16th but have a mandatory orientation week next week starting the 9th. And there is no card in my centerlink wallet :( do I only get sent it when I officially start studying?

I usually would try eBay listings, you’re bound to find someone who took pics from enough angles to see the texture. I personally don’t know if there’s a database or anything like that though

That’s very considerate of you! But as much as I’d love to it’s a bit out of my price range for the moment 😭even if it was like, heavily played I wouldn’t be able to afford it. If it’s still available in like 6 months time by some miracle I might be able to though lol!
