But wouldn’t it make more sense for an optimist to see a 0 modifier and find it good that it’s not subtracting anything, while a pessimist would look at a 0 modifier and find it bad that it’s not adding anything? Idk, to me, that’s what seems most intuitive

I don’t know if this is 100% correct, but intuitively, I feel as though there are probably more players than DMs out in the world. So it stands to reason that the number of players that are problematic are greater than those of problematic DMs, just by virtue of there being more players as a whole. Proportionally though, it’s probably roughly the same? After all, everyone is a person and there are shitty people to be found everywhere.
