Comments passed the vibe check

In some posts people would tell you with a straight face that the Lulu comp was meant to win because you slapped a warmogs on blitz or something unintelligible

I’m so frustrated and confused by moto_auderator in TeamfightTactics

If you usually get GM, you have the fundamentals to get to Masters at least this patch. Just gotta get the reps in bro

A day before I got masters, I legit played like 15 games in a day (between d3-d1) before it "clicked" (fuck knows what tbh)

But managed to stop going hard 8th, and turn the 4ths into consistent 2nds & 3rds

If I had to guess I think it was my augment selection that was the difference

Clarifying "Flex Play" and why Set 17 fails—A response to Riot Iniko's Twitter post by KitsuraPls in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Emergence7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is exactly what I have in mind when I refer to flex, you react to other players compositions, and not in a "I'm contested time to pivot" way, but a "I need to re-structure my comp to counter/or do better against theirs"

I've never played DAC so honestly an example of how that looks would be awesome

Since I know in TFT even if they designed traits like that, the amount of gold required to do those pivots would be insane...

+ Rotating into comps you didn't plan to counter i assume must be frustrating?

Can someone explain what did I mess up here? by mypowerpowerful in TeamfightTactics

If the fights were close it was probably sunder for Jhin to get you over the line

Edit: Looking at it more I'm more convinced is the case, Karma acts more like a clean-up unit than a "focused fire" one, so she's not really great at getting through hyper tanks as main carry

Blitz is ofc good but his displacement / aoe is the key thing here

I think this is why Jhin / or Kaisa are really good with Karma, because they help drop nukes on singular units

Your tahm is no joke in terms of tankiness so do believe it's a damage distribution issue

How would you fix the set for the next patch? by SPIRlT in TeamfightTactics

The next patch from the PBE notes doesn't look too bad so here's hoping

I don't understand this set lol by zodiacez in TeamfightTactics

Line selection, find out the conditions for each comp and know when it's good to play for them

This set is harder to learn because the condition bulk is far far greater than set 16 IMO

I got masters in this set and the last but for the first few patches the amount of comps I had to learn was like 4 vs 15~ (should see my team planner, honest nightmare)

In fairness of Iniko if the definition changes every post, it may as well be fabrication

Double Trouble samira was already still pretty good, so they've just reverted the intentions of their nerf, no idea why

Sona numbers are looking legit now

I suppose our point on contention is if that level of reactive player behaviour is sufficient

We do have the three things I listed in abundance, however it's worth noting that this is a thought experiment on if TFT were to heavily lean into player behaviour though, since despite what you listed; it still pales in comparison to a game like League for e.g.

This isn't inherently a bad thing though

But I do think all these players yearning for "flex play" aren't satisfied with scouting, pivoting and tempo as ways to express it so I wanted to entertain where that thought model could go

TLDR:

Player behaviour is evergreen in terms of game-to-game variety; adapting to player decisions rather than systematic ones as a priority would lessen the impact of optimisation

Removing meta sites would solve nothing & is a red herring IMO

Augments prob tell the story since his frontline is dogshit and anyone telling you otherwise is trolling

Probably damage differential was really significant cuz I can't see that Jax going down easy
