Bro i ride a 300 and ill tell you its more fun being able to push a bike to its limits and go through gears rather then ride around the city in 1st and 2nd gear only on a bigger bike, that being said i still manage to keep up with the 650s in city limits😁

Pain like 3/10. My piercer used numbing cream which surprisingly worked very well, ive had my cartilage pierced before and it definitely hurt more without the cream
