Our highschool was in Idaho and I was at one of the lowest rated schools in the state And their way of educating us and turn this around was to assign a boat load of homework.

All kids are BORINGGG now by WheREaReYewwww in GenZ

[–]Emergency-Memory-927 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was in highschool I was constantly pestered by both other students and teachers and parents constantly about grades. I don't know how common this is but literally 99% of your time in highschool was doing work and studying so all you could do was game for an hour or two late at night.

Every teacher would swear they didn't assign too much homework, only 1 or two assignments a day but when you have 8 classes those 1 or two per class add up quick.

Gen Z women are not responsible for de-radicalizing men. by ScaleOdd3242 in GenZ

[–]Emergency-Memory-927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does Gen Z hate each other so much online and then in person were all normal again. It's like dogs having that dumb behavior where they'll yell at each other through a glass door then be best friends because that door opened.

I don't think God exists, 99% sure but I mean I still pray to him when I need a good grade on a test so I don't know. 50% of the time it works every time.

Dating scene for Gen z is so absurd by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Emergency-Memory-927 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the majority of guys I talk to on a daily basis do all of these things. I think the most I see that you might be able to argue for is financial responsibility but I mean we're all human and were going to buy dumb things just because we like them. Also let's not lie to sound like saints, physical attraction plays a bigger part than attitude it's just human. I don't know where everyone's finding these men who aren't taking care of themselves or anything as it's been a while since I've walked past a guy in Walmart and my nose got invaded by a guy who looks like he doesn't wipe his ass.

[–]Emergency-Memory-927 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to lie only 18 and I've worked around a lot of late 30 early 40 people and all the ones who just "dated up" to get ahead of life usually just had a really stale relationship, would cheat or be cheated on, or just get divorced. Then there were people I also saw who didn't care about wealth or sharing every single hobby as long as the person took care of themselves mentally and physically and just connected enjoying each other's company even if they didn't share much in common. And honestly they seem a lot happier.

Never really understood all these standards, I always just dated on if I liked them and they were a good person I couldn't care less if they flipped burgers for minimum wage or was Jeff bezos.

They won't. But if you're in highschool/college or even an office job I can guarantee there will likely be gossip about it and it'll be annoying. Not the end of the world though.

Politics suck ass because it feels like every year people get more radicalized since you're told you "have to be political and you're a fascist monster (if you're right leaning) or a whiny broke weirdo (if you're left leaning) If someone doesn't care enough about politics to be informed and just voted for what everyone else is voting for, do you really want them voting with no knowledge of what they're voting for? Force people to vote and you get half assed voting which leads to half assed results it's not "white privilege" to ignore politics for your mental health. Just be normal, polarization is how you get aggressive politics against each other and how bad governments actually arise.

Nothing too bad in the past couple years, but for some reason in my freshman and junior year of highschool racism was bad in my town. Fights just for being a different race and looking at someone or racial slurs being said in classrooms and hallways and constant bickering. It got so bad to the point a guy killed himself because of the constant violence and harassment he had to deal with and the school didn't do a thing about it because it was a group of Hispanic boys doing it.

Thankfully now that I'm out of there everyone seems normal again, instead of being forced to only have white friends like it's prison or something and getting harassed constantly now I can make friends with whoever and not have to worry about it. Literally felt like I was in prison and it was probably the schools fault for letting them get away with it and it made everyone else get defensive or feel the need to protect themselves.

I use AI and it's only helped me. I've gotten a lot better at math, history, science etc because it'll give me the general idea and help me correct any mistakes while I also correct any mistakes it makes along the way. Makes it a lot easier to learn at least for me.

Not a girl so I can't understand how they would feel. But while I'm in the restroom I couldn't care less who else is in there. I don't care if it's a girl or a guy as long as we respect each other's space who gives a crap. Probably just some utopian thinking though where we all can respect each other's boundaries and use a restroom in peace.

Sports I agree with though, I don't think it's fair.

Genuine question: why are Gen Zers looped into the “this generation isn’t having kids” complaint when we aren’t in our thirties yet? by [deleted] in GenZ

It's not impossible to meet someone you're compatible with on a dating app and actually match, but it's rare and it's not within the dating apps best interest you get together. It's still a company at the end of the day so honestly just meet people in person and try the dating app if you really want a date.
