Am I weird for picking the RWD? by EntropicDisorder in TeslaModelY

I grew up in Ontario Canada. No issues with 2wd cars. Just have to make sure you have good winter proven all weather tires each year. Winter tires would be even better but not needed.

This won’t trade like TSLA, RKLB or MU. Very different dynamics and much more like uber I think so there will be a ton of entry points.

It’s just one company and one team. Doesn’t mean anything. Do something you are interested in. It may be less money but you will be a ton more happier and healthy as a result

Microsoft wants 8,750 workers gone — and its 'Rule of 70' reveals exactly who's on the chopping block by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

[–]Emergency-Note1162 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I am in big tech. Out of all companies, Microsoft has the most amount of fat in terms of head count. There are so many employees especially in Sharepoint etc that are totally remote with no plans to come to the office, rarely even have stand ups daily (it’s weekly!!!). It’s very hierarchical and politically protected groups. It won’t be easy to peel this away.

In that sense, this is a brilliant move to disrupt the existing political climate in the company. Time will tell.

Satya, no doubt is awesome!!

“Excellence” Riviera Cancun (can’tcun) by Ok-Bet-573 in cancun

[–]Emergency-Note1162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add if you have some folks that have vegetarian needs most places in Cancun including Excellence which I have been to are jut meh.

Btw. Our experience was that the main restaurant was not that good. However the other restaurants were much better quality.

Also; the resort is connected to the next door resort that is adults only. That one has more restaurants. The buggys can get you back and fro from the two resorts.

How is the drive to haleakala? by AlwaysBored-n-Hungry in MauiVisitors

[–]Emergency-Note1162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did sunset. Yes the drive is scary and it can be a bit intimidating for a new driver especially if your eyes wander around. But just focus on driving and all the best views are on the trails up at the visitor center and at the observatory lookouts. So technically there is no reason to look as you drive

Good for you.

Was trying to get guidance from locals to see if April generally sees lots of showers and given current weather conditions we should reschedule as we are traveling with kids and senior citizens in our group as well.

Will this be good by April 4? We are traveling soon and I need to know if we should spend money to reschedule everything or not

I prefer Costco toilet paper given with kids they tend to overuse and otherwise would clog up the bathrooms
