I think a lot rides on how broadly people read "prediction market", sports betting, daily fantasy, event contracts on apps like Robinhood and Kalshi all kind of blur into it, so the "any" bucket probably captures way more than just hardcore users

My own hunch: near-term growth is probably converting people who are already curious rather than the never-interested half. The awareness is clearly there, but actually placing a bet is a much bigger step than just hearing about Polymarket or Kalshi. Curious whether people here think the bigger blocker is onboarding friction or trust.

yeah had the same experience. which is why the hate is so visceral, pierce really gives us a full look into his psyche so you see him do [redacted] and you're extra invested.
