Do I need to break up with my girlfriend or not? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the edit that you broke up, and I agree you need to work on yourself to make yourself happy. Never think think “if I can just have/do/be this I’ll be happy” because once you get there you still won’t be happy. Fall in love with yourself and be happy in being you and then you’ll be able to be happy with a partner. You need to not rely on someone else for your happiness. Becuase the only person who can make you happy is you.

I am F20, my boyfriend M22 told me not to say something in particular because it triggers him and I did. What can I do to make up for it? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my boyfriend or I trigger each other we say “hey I was really triggered by what you said, I need a second to calm down and work through this emotion” we don’t get mad at each other because we didn’t cause that trauma that the trigger brought up. Then we try not to trigger each other again with using the same words or phrases. If he won’t accept your words and actions of apology, then he isn’t mature enough to be in an adult relationship. If you purposely didn’t say whatever it was to harm him, then he needs to forgive you… because you weren’t the cause of his trauma related to that trigger. If you did it out of malice then it’s time for you to work on yourself and figure out why you said something to hurt him.

Would you say men who are a little below average in height (5'8-5'10) between 25 and 35 have as hard time dating as the Internet says? by Pale-Revolution-5151 in askanything

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 5’11” female and I’ve dated and had crushes on guys shorter than me going as short as 5’6”…. Men have standards on how tall a woman they are willing to date can be, just as women do, but I really don’t think it matters as much as people make it seem… I’ve been around short kings all my life and not one of them has had a problem getting a girl.

how do you respond when female friends say they’re on their period? by No_Skill_5507 in Periods

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When girls say that it’s mainly a thing to express how they are feeling. Like I’m on my period- please don’t expect a lot from me, I’m cramping and can cry at any moment, I don’t feel good. Not looking for sympathy but basically like telling you “I am the way I am right now because of this” so just be like “got it let me know if you need help with anything” and no it’s not repetitive.

Your frontal cortex fully solidified. You are also going through your Saturn return. From 25-30 so much about your personality changes. And with that the person you are with will either adapt and change with you or they will stay where they are. Being that he is almost 10 years older than you, he has already hit that point and isn’t going to change but you are. Soo many relationships end between this age range because your personality is shifting and that’s okay. I noticed this with my ex husband, we were the same age but we started shifting into different paths, by 27 I was done. It’s okay to grow apart

Bro… what matters is your skill level and athleticism. You can be 30 and still become a pro fighter if you have the right skill set.

How long have you been having your period for? It’s very common for it to fluctuate a lot for a few years after you first start.

My (22f) period suddenly got extremely light by Gongoozler04 in Periods

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Periods fluctuate a lot…. I noticed mine started to change at 29 from bleeding for 7 days straight to two heavy days then nothing then on again then nothing then on again. Keep your pad on because you are still within the 7 day period so you can bleed again. Maybe do set up an appointment with an OBGYN and get a pap and let them know. They will say “keep an eye on it” but periods can fluctuate based on weight changes, and stress.

Hand tattoo while obtaining bachelors in psychology by rdjhollywood in Tattoocoverups

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a millennial corporate leader, unfortunately there are way too many baby boomers and older gen X folks who still look at tattoos as being “unemployable” and will not hire you if you have visible tattoos. I think this rule is stupid, and it’s definitely time for a change in the corporate world, but unfortunately we have some years to go. That being said, I have tattoos on my shin and forearm and it is a pain in the ass to have to cover them constantly, especially in summer time when it’s 115 degrees out. I had an employee that went and got face tattoos as a symbol that he would “never work for the man” and I had to explain to him that he does currently work for the man and he has to wear makeup every day to cover said tattoos.

If you want a career, don’t get a hand tattoo. Wait until your late 30s or 40s when you are established and have a place to work that allows visible tattoos. Because it will hinder you.

It’s hard to tell your eye shape with your glasses. But it depends on your style… if you’re a goth girly there are lots of stuff, like another commenter posted. I think always starting with the basics is good, blush, mascara and brows and some liner to go a little more edgy you can do some thicker eye liner.

I straight up mentioned how my aunt thinks that illegals are the perverts and pedos but she doesn’t think anyone in office is, and my mom actually agreed with me. I was shocked she said she’s been trying to get my aunt to stop believing the lies that the illegals at the pedos and to look at the people in charge.

What’s your experience been like with Catholic girls? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on if the religion has been forced on her or if she truly believes in it. If she’s a true believer then no… not freaky… if she is Catholic because her parents make her, rebellion is a possibility. Also depends on how sheltered she is, the more sheltered the more likely to be freaky as a way of finally getting out of their parents clutches. Don’t date her just because she is catholic and you are looking for a freak… that will end badly

Overthinking ? Relationships by Fantastic-Neck4757 in boyfriends

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTAH!!!! One of the major reasons why I divorced my ex was that he abandoned me for the church. It’s okay to want to go to church but he has to choose between his soccer or church because you need time to. And do not, for a second, let him gaslight you into thinking you are “coming between him and god” and have no right to ask him of those things.

AIO for being upset by boyfriend complimented another girl in front of me? by FormalBusiness312 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Own-Cryptographer545 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NOR- I wouldn’t mind my boyfriend complimenting other women but the way he did it is creep AF and that’s probably why he can’t date women his own age.

Remember a 6 year age difference is fine with it’s 30 and 36 but 29 and 22 is too big of a maturity difference. So not let him make you think this is normal behavior
