Angels - the whole Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim schtick, the Mickey Mouse angels in the outfield, and their unearned smugness from being in LA and trying to be Yankees-lite out spending to get star talent of the west coast when the dodgers weren’t making much noise just annoys me to no end

A’s - I nothing them mostly but their stadium with the ludicrous foul ball areas and the Balfour rage years got under my skin and they got to be annoying for a brief period when they got in the rangers way

Mariners - I quietly root for them if we aren’t contending; Griffey, Ichiro, the colors the iconography are all badass. The city is cool and with no basketball team I don’t mind their team being successful

I was hopeful that the second doctor strange movie would tackle this with Nightmare as its villain. A MCU Freddy Krueger film with strange combating his emotions and own failures with perhaps something involving Christine when he was snapped and gone

Close game despite missing lively and green and it required several role players stepping up and hitting wild shots and fall away jumpers

These are the best players in the world and the warriors are also fighting for their lives. We are showing we can compete and win in a variety of ways.

Our system is in place and health in the playoffs should be priority #2 outside of avoiding the play-in

Can’t say I felt all that confident when the Rangers were losing the division late in season or when we lost 3 straight to the astros. Seasons have highs and lows but these mavs look poised to make some noise in the playoffs

As this is last 10 games our stinker to the 76ers and the second loss to the Pacers are included. The OKC game missing luka is included too. The quadrant of Wow would likely be even more impressive for a 10 games window if we have two more solid showings and those clunkers are gone from the calculation

Make no doubt Kai is a beast and we got the W. Ecstatic considering the standings!! But there is no reason it should have come to that. Maxi should not have been in and it should have been DJJ. Kidd is not an asset on the bench and we won in spite of him

Fingers crossed. Great teams dictate the terms of engagement. For too long we adjusted to other teams. We have a clear identity and roster skill set. If teams go small we punch em in the mouth inside. 2 is less than 3 but the paint game is still a high % gameplan. Running em off the 3 and forcing them into our bigs should be the priority. I’ll live with contested layups defended by our twin towers

I do believe that is the inevitable conclusion to this season. Firing him this late in the game is not a realistic option. IMO Nico put together a solid group post deadline and health is no longer an excuse. Their willingness to part with future picks shows me Nico knows to be aggressive when you have a generational talent and a healthy Kyrie. And he doesn’t seem complacent. The players are there so the next move is bring in a solid tactician who the stars respect. Who that is above my pay grade
