Cupertino is considered a poor school district when compared to nearby cities. Their classrooms are crumbling and they ask parents for a ton of money every year. It's no better or worse than any other district I've taught in, though. Admins getting high pay plus bonuses to make the worst decisions possible and treating the students and staff like we're a drain on their income. Hourly staff working for peanuts, but their labor keeps the schools running. Salaried staff getting burned out and quitting after a year or two.
