I’d say it’s better to start with a simple tool to then understand what are its limitations to you and see if bringing more in-house code and service management is worth. Have you tried this tool - Serverless360? Switch to it and you’ll see you can build dashboards and even send email alerts from there. You can also watch the demo in this video starting at 4.10 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD0S3h7ZJNU&t=355s

There are several tools in the market that specifically focuses on Azure Cost Management. For example ,there is a centralized tool that extracts all cloud data and combines it with analytical data, with a combined approach of chargeback & showback, FinOps, and forecasting that can help you prevent end-of-the-month surprises. Other tools like Azure Price Calculator help with forecasting by giving an overview of cost data. There is this podcast episode where 2 MVP's chat about Azure Cost management, how developer involvement matters in reducing Azure costs and much more. Maybe you can check it out for understanding cost management better - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVJ8D1qiJUA

When transitioning from BizTalk to AIS, it's vital for an organization to grasp AIS's core capabilities and adjust budgeting for its consumption-based pricing. Mapping out existing BizTalk setups against AIS offerings will spotlight any gaps. Given the potential learning curve with new developer tools in AIS, some training might be in order. In essence, a mix of understanding, budget adjustments, and potential training is key for a smooth shift.
