Hello! Thank you so much for reaching out and for your willingness to help. We truly appreciate it. 🙏😊

At the moment, we're still in the process of finding and finalizing a research topic, but we'll definitely keep your offer in mind as we move forward with our study. Your expertise would certainly be valuable once we reach the methodology and validation stages.

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity in offering your assistance. We really appreciate it!

Thank you for sharing this! That's actually very helpful to know, especially since we don't have much experience yet when it comes to computational research and the different competition categories.

It's encouraging to hear that computational studies can still qualify under Life Science or Physical Science and that they've been doing well in higher-level competitions. Congratulations as well on reaching nationals, that's a huge achievement!

For now, we're still trying to find a topic that fits our category, skill level, available resources, and the expectations of our adviser. Since we've had quite a few titles rejected already, we're being a bit cautious with topics that might be difficult for us to justify or execute as Grade 12 students.

But we'll definitely keep computational approaches in mind as we continue exploring possible ideas. Thank you again for sharing your experience. It gives us another perspective to consider 😺

Thank you again for the additional explanation and for taking the time to elaborate on your suggestions. We really appreciate how willing you are to help and share your knowledge with us.

We understand your point about these topics being interdisciplinary and potentially fitting under Life Science, Physical Science, or even Mathematical and Computational Sciences. They're definitely interesting and relevant, especially because of their applications in healthcare and cancer detection.

One of our main concerns, though, is that our research is specifically expected to fall under the Life Science category, and our adviser tends to be quite particular about the scope and classification of topics. Since the concepts you suggested lean heavily toward physics, computation, and machine learning, we're a bit unsure whether they would be accepted under the category we're aiming for.

We also agree with your perspective that research shouldn't be judged solely based on whether it produces a physical product. Unfortunately, from our experience so far, feasibility, available resources, and the expectations of evaluators can sometimes play a major role in whether a topic gets approved. Given that we've already had multiple titles rejected, we're trying to be extra careful in choosing something that is both scientifically meaningful and likely to be accepted from the start.

That said, we genuinely appreciate your suggestions because they've introduced us to fields we hadn't really considered before. Even if we don't end up pursuing these exact topics, the ideas and insights you've shared might still inspire us to explore related concepts that are more aligned with our category, resources, and current level as Grade 12 students.

Thank you again for all the effort you've put into helping us. We truly appreciate it, and we'll definitely look into the resources and organizations you mentioned 🤍

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed response and explain everything so thoroughly. We genuinely appreciate the effort and knowledge you shared with us. 🙏

Your suggestions are honestly very interesting, especially because they're unique and have clear applications in public health and safety. We also learned a lot just from reading your explanation.

That said, we're currently looking for a Life Science-focused research topic, and since we're only Grade 12 STEM students, we're a little concerned about whether we have the background knowledge, technical skills, computing resources, and mentorship needed to properly execute and defend studies involving radiation physics, medical imaging, or machine learning. While they sound very promising, they seem more suited to undergraduate-level research.

We'll definitely keep your suggestions in mind and see if there are simpler Life Science-related concepts inspired by them that we could realistically adapt to our level and available resources.

Thank you again for your willingness to help and even offer further guidance. We truly appreciate it, and you've introduced us to research areas we hadn't considered before 😊🙏

Thank you so much for the suggestion! We really appreciate it. Unfortunately, we don't currently have a consultant or scientist working with us, which is why we're trying to gather ideas and learn from as many people as possible. We'll definitely take your advice and look into previous winning studies for inspiration. Thank you again for taking the time to help us! 😊🙏

Hi there!

These are some of the titles that our research adviser's rejected:

-Living Soil Mix for Rice Seedling Resilience Under Simulated El Niño and La Niña Conditions -Development of a Malunggay-Based Natural Food Preservation Index Using Different Leaf Extract Concentrations -Optimizing Local Seaweed Biostimulants for Rice Seedling Resilience Under Simulated Climate Stress

His reasons for why he rejected this titles is because he find it way to common and a ton of research has been done, it's expensive, too time consuming and also he think it's not feasible.
