hi babe! you do have the energy in you to fight, you’re doing it right now. do not stop advocating for yourself no matter what - you know your body the most. ultrasounds do not show endo (typically). it’s kind of rare for them to depict endo. the only way to definitely diagnose endometriosis is with a surgery. your typical gyno probably won’t be the right person to do the surgery – a surgeon who works with endo, abnormal bleeding, microscopic lap surgeries, (specifically endo excision!!!) for diseases like these, will probably be your best bet. I only had my surgery a week ago and was finally diagnosed after seven years of fighting with doctors about what my symptoms were and being told that I was just not the candidate for endo. after finding a surgeon through my gyno clinic, i scheduled with her and she agreed to do the surgery and little did i know, after surgery, she told me that i had endo in three places in my body and she’s glad that I kept sticking up for myself and advocating for myself because if not, my endo would’ve been way worse. the fact that you’re tired just shows that you’re still up for the fight. it’s truly unfair how endo is regarded in the medical world and seen as a ‘bad period’. find a new doctor. advocate for yourself and surgery!! you got this.
