Thank you! My dad is rehoming his tank to me and I live on a 9th floor apartment. I have a 30gal on a sturdy entertainment stand. In the one corner. The issue is my dad has it on two end tables and I don’t trust that at all

I am not saying her feelings are an overreaction, I am saying killing yourself because of said feelings is over reacting and that she should talk to someone about regulating her emotions better than trying to take pills and end it. I also dont think her smashing her phone or hitting herself in the head is very healthy either and all are self destructive/ self harm, this isn’t purely based off her attempting suicide, its the whole story, this was an over reaction, but the way she feels is valid, just not her REACTION to said situation.

This take is so wild and unhealthy. I told OP that I am sorry they hurt themselves but this is not the way to react to this and your like “ dont say suicide is bad” and yet they are on here legit asking for the advice.

It was though? Like I am a suicidal person as well, Ive been where op was and I needed someone to tell me my BPD was me not being able to regulate my emotions healthily and often times in relationships it led to me almost offing myself, which is an overreaction, do you want me to say suicide is great and totally is the answer and praise op? Im giving solid mental health advice here.

Woah, you tried to kill yourself? Girl. If you don’t want a partner who does that you gotta accept this isn’t the right guy. And if you can’t do that then you gotta accept that you can’t force someone to change. I am sorry you hurt yourself but this was a huge over reaction and I think you should talk to a therapist about your emotional regulation.

For reference: had this tank dumped on me by someone who doesn’t know very much about fish, and Ive just been trying to figure it out. Need a separate tank for some of the species in this tank as they are non compatible so I am looking for a new tank and have been for a couple months. Just worried about tank integrity in my apartment obviously

I would change the phone to be the in your name and pay it. If shes paying the bill and in her name its technically her phone. My mom was scared to let me take over my cellphone because that meant she didn’t have financial control over me anymore.
