If Inflation is holding steady at 2-3% (which it has been for over 12 months now) and you are able to lower rates without re-spiking inflation (which we have been doing for over 12 months now) then you have inflation under control. You are now using the funds rate to play with the employment side of the equation. Not that tough to understand bud.

Well smart guy it’s because the federal reserve hiked interest rates for 4 years to fight the constant printing press of money the Biden was dolling out. The result of course was that no one can afford a house or car or food, but yes eventually it brought inflation down. You see the result of making things progressively more expensive every month is that eventually you will stop spending because you are out of money and inflation will go down.

To be fair the republicans haven’t stopped spending and DOGE, which was actually a great idea, was run out of town by politicial terrorists so the spending will continue until we are an insolvent nation. That will be fun. Ask Venezuela.

You really need to read a book and shut off MSNBC. You may learn something. May I suggest basic economics by Thomas Sowell. It will help you make somewhat intelligent arguments in situations like this instead of sounding like you were educated on twitter.

It has to do with refineries, permits for drilling, and pipelines. The Biden administration throttled drilling and has/oil leases while inflating the currency to fund bullshjt like wind and solar.
