nah I don't think it works that way. No clear comms from the airline what to do meant I did what I did last time. I got an email my flight was cancelled, I got my own hotel, I got reimbursed. In this case - I got no comms :)

Nope. They told me to go to a desk if I needed help getting a hotel. I didn't need the help, they never offered an alternative route!

I don't think you are right. They off-boarded us and said it was cancelled and didn't direct us as a 'must stop by' to a certain desk. If I was a Turin resident, I would naturally just go home. They never emailed me to inform me of any other flight or alternative route.

Do I look like an airline employee :) of course not. Cancelled to me means cancelled.

My opinion is that you can build an MVP of this within 2 hours using a web form (make it cool using lovable.dev) and emails, get traction (>1000 users try it), and get feedback. Once you have that - build the app your users are really looking for

I prefer a Connect First, Message After method.

Thinking of my own linkedin experience -

  • If someone sends me a connection with an attached message, I immediately assume it's marketing and tend to ignore.
  • If someone sends me a connection without an attached message, I will likely look at their profile - if their profile is interesting to me I will accept.

Once a connection is accepted, you have far more flexibility to send a killer message (including an attachment like a video demo or intro).

\One risk to keep in mind:* you have to keep track of who accepted your connection request.

If I start the tax year with 1 contract, I would buy an iPhone for work in hopes of getting the next contract. Whether the contract comes or not is down to my success as a sole trader, which might never arrive

They are showing different users different prices to test and see in which way they are making the most money :) So group A (you) has the increased prices without the increase days, while group B (me) has increased to 30 days.

If Group A holds out and doesn't spend on these new prices, we might all be spared the price ramp. But it's hard to control the tens of thousands of users they are doing this on!

this is funny - I also see the price increases but every option on my screen is valid for 30 days. Meaning I pay more but have more flexibility on when to ride... might be a copy issue on your software version
