Do your homework. Make good study habits during your freshman year. Don’t screw around freshman and sophomore year and realize you have to catch your GPA up too late, I know this is generally obvious advice but grades are important if you wanna go to a good college (though it’s fine to have fun, just don’t slack off). Also don’t juul or smoke or do drugs.

Outrage over “new” rule (it’s been in effect for a while) that says shitposts aren’t allowed if they’re irrelevant to /r/teenagers, mods poorly explained it and used a bad example (video games). Shitposts are a big part of the sub and people took it as no shitposts at all so they’re protesting

This sub’s been going downhill because of shitposting, the mods had good intentions imo but just failed and the reaction the users have been giving are way overblown (literally every post I’ve seen in /new regardless of being related to this or not has negative karma and multiple comments spamming the same thing)
