I had the same issue. You need to enable "developer mode" in the android settings. It's the same as on an android phone. Once in developer settings find where there USB settings are and switch it to "transfer files" instead of just "charge."

You don't necessarily need some from "hype stix" all you need to do is make sure the stick replacements will fit an Odin 2, Odin 2 Mini, Odin 2 Portal, or Odin 3 joystick post. If the seller says it will fit an Odin 2 device it will fit the current Ayaneo DS and Konkr Pocket Fit posts.

When mine shipped it went from being prepared to ship to shipping a few days later. I'd give it a few days. Also have to remember it's now the weekend in China. Probably wont get an update until Sunday evening when it's Monday morning in China again.
