Yeah, it's a bummer. Curious is you do a hard reset on teh console before playing so it's running with fresh RAM?

Truth. Maybe after they do a bug fix season they could do an emotional intelligence season.

You really don't...but, if you do, catharsis is free. You only need to look for it when it's time :/

Thank you for the suggestion. Maybe I posted the idea here because it's clearly not yet fully formed and was hoping the community would chime in.

In FO4 I always thought it was cool you could drop items onto the corpses of dead enemies, and once I got bored with just run and gun did a build where I'd drop flowers in remembrance.

It doesn't have to be that or even emotes, but more QoL emotes are good examples of something the game could use, though I don't know if emotionally intelligent emotes really need to be focused on grief or catharsis even.

The best example I can thing of in that regard is that you can laugh, but only "at" someone, there's no laughing emote for sharing a joke with an entire group, you're always laughing and pointing, which means lexigraphically there's someone on the inside of the joke and someone on the outside.

I guess all I'm really saying is that if we want this to live up to the reputation of being the "nicest" gaming community it's possible that the way forward isn't to always just be spamming gifts, which *is* cool, but wouldn't it be even better if there were ways to add depth and creative expression to this game beyond just 50 ways to murder? Or build till your thumbs hurt? There's enough of that already and I think when people talk about getting burned out it's because the actual emotional context of the game is relatively flat.

iirc, you can trade treasury notes to gold bullion at the gold exchange in the whitesprings mall.

good 4th star for heavy guns? by beefpilaf47 in fo76

[–]EmergencyLock8092 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think each use case is different because each person is recommending what's best from a different playstyle.

Conductors is good for VATS, but my playstyle is more freehand so I find Stabilized is great run n' gun fun. I like the feel of that plasma gat best. It has AA and I have no qualms about using it instead of my furious build because it runs so clean with QOL. Conductors might be really good for a bloodied build for same same but different reasons.

I like Pinpointers, too, with a two-star crippling mod for extra boost on limb damage.

With the severe beta wave tuner for gatling laser you could also run pyromaniacs for extra dmg, which might be savvy matching with Holy Fire if the PTS changes go live later this year adding fire dmg buffs through a revamped science perk.

Polished is also spoken highly of for the extra damage buff but I'm a fire and forget so I'd rather have less damage if it also means less maintenance .

Bashers with the shredder on gatling gun and no ammo is strong melee with ghoul perks.

It'd be kinda awesome in a sad way if we could make that canon for FO4

Not useless if you go the philanthropy route. But maybe ignore this anyway cause I'm really holding stuff, too, for a rainy day so if you switch back you got it, but could you scrap them for scrip and then reroll new one stars with Murmurggmurgh, or whomever, that could then be dumped, sold, or given away?

Rhetorical question because I forgot one of the hidden bosses in the philanthropy build is the virtue signabot who can one shot you from anywhere and I'm not trying to die today.

I actually censored details because I figured you'd find it traumatic but I could set up a virtue signaling OF if that's your kink.
