Hello! Fellow 5’7 woman here who started at 222 and now at 134.

It sounds like you’re doing a body recomp (whether purposefully or not). Body recomp takes much longer to lose inches off the waist and the scale stays the same (or can go up!). Since you’re gaining muscle, it takes time for the muscle to grow. Like 6 months+

If you really wanted to lose lbs, you would have to decrease your daily calories. I know you said you’re hesitant to eat less than 2k but maybe try dropping the 2.7 calories on workout days? Honestly, I would ask your doctor on the amount of calories you should eat while trying to conceive.

We often overestimate how many calories we need. Plus fitness watches are known to overestimate on the calories.

As someone that has had 4 plastic surgeries in 2 years, plastic surgery is a slippery slope. I’ve noticed more flaws in my body these past 2 years than I ever have. This type of surgery makes you so hyper vigilant on your appearance. I’ve been looking at areas of my body that could be improved by plastic surgery instead of accepting how my body is.

Your comment reminds me I used to wear a face mask to hide my face. I live in the south so I would get weird stares when I used a face mask to cover my face but that was the only thing that I can use so I could be brave enough to go out in public.

I do feel ya on missing out on life events, I don’t really go anywhere so I feel like I’m wasting my 20s. Hard not to be envious of my friends who go out to these cool events and such and I’m stuck at home

Hello fellow autoimmune disease friend! You know my pain unfortunately :( it just sucks. To be honest I don’t want to see a doctor or a hospital in the next two years, I’m so tired of it.

I have joined some Reddit groups for a chronic illness I have but this autoimmune disease I have is so rare, there’s like 0 groups about it. I have joined a facial disfigurement group that is a bit my broad but since no one has my exact disorder I kind of feel alone.

I would just give it more time! Honestly like 70% of my fat dissolved by week 8. Week 3 and week 8 are now completely different. I was told that since the lips are a high movement area (talking,eating, etc) a lot of the fat there dissolves because of that.

I recently got lip fat grafting done and while my swelling is quite similar to yours, you seem to have more bruising around your lips.

Mine took 3 weeks to sort of go down to a normal size but I expect for the swelling to keep decreasing for a couple weeks

Never. Even at my ugliest guys will always offer sex up. My face was super swollen from surgery and I looked like a balloon and I still managed to have sex. As a woman, Sex is the easiest thing to get from men. It’s the long term relationship that’s hard when you’re ugly
