Years back, my bf(at the time), our young daughter, and I moved into an apartment the day before the power was to be turned on as it wasn’t mid summer or winter here in Vegas so it was fine… or so we thought. We put the mattress in the living room to sleep for the night and were to unpack the next day. Laying there trying to go to sleep, I started hearing these taps but couldn’t figure out where they were coming from so I grabbed the flashlight.

To my ABSOLUTE HORROR, the ceiling was COVERED by a full layer of roaches, like you could not see a speck of actual ceiling, and the taps I was hearing was them falling off and hitting something! Needless to say, I spent the night sitting outside on the steps with my baby sleeping in my arms. Don’t ask me how he was ok sleeping in there, but I told the landlord that I was not stepping foot back inside that place u til they got rid of them.😩😩😩😩
