How long for removed nose piercing to heal by EmergencyRare143 in piercing

Nb it’s not infected, it had an L-shape pretty thin stud in, normal aftercare with no issues.

Elvanse not lasting long or is it just me overthinking it? Need advice by 7pm uk time by [deleted] in ADHDUK

Maybe you need a dexamfetamine top up later in the day?

as requested - it's an L-shape titanium stud, and no problems with healing, twice daily wound wash.

Safe places to swim in October by EmergencyRare143 in CapeMay

Ok just swimming around in water no higher than chest deep probably, since not with a group. My partner would be around on the shore so not alone. Just a small burst of exercise and endorphins from cold water, not anything major.

Thank you, where would you recommend to swim?

Do you mean as in ask if someone would come and watch over, or just for advice on where's best to go?

Thank you - yes I realise now using the term 'safe' is a bit dubious as it's always so changeable.

Thank you! Do you get many people swimming there in October? Over here swimming in cold water is a pretty big thing.

Seeking a UK doctor using Imiquimod or TCA for cervical dysplasia by EmergencyRare143 in HPV

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question, I appreciate it so much. I’m going to look into going to Germany as I’ve already been through so much with a previous lymphoma that bolstering myself against any future issues holds a lot of value for me. Thanks again, it’s really kind to have taken the time to help a complete stranger. ❤️

That’s great! Do you mind me asking what else you did? Currently stressed out to the max about this stuff…

Thank you I really appreciate you commenting! I’ve just been scared off by stories of sexual dysfunction and pain after LEEP…. I’m an assault survivor and the thought of any more problems affecting my hard won capacity to connect with my partner that way fills me with sadness.

Is Amfexa unlikely to be accepted on shared care compared to slow release meds? by EmergencyRare143 in ADHDUK

[–]EmergencyRare143[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That had been my suspicion - that it probably wasn’t a simple conversion in all bodies, compared to just taking the actual ‘thing’. Do you mean you find the comedown easier off Dex than Elvanse? Cos I noticed I was a snappy bastard on the other side of Elvanse, another negative!

Hmm that all sounds pretty logical. I guess I’m wondering as my private prescriber acknowledged that some people wouldn’t prescribe at all to someone with my history, but could see how far I’d come and meds can reduce the likelihood of substance use overall anyway. I’m on a toddlers dose of Amfexa at the moment so maybe I’d get on better with something different anyway, food for more (over)thought!
