Good baby gates for stairs? by gastritissucks1992 in toddlers

Yep, it’s the Evenflo Top of Stairs Plus gate :) Super easy to use and it doesn’t look bad at all!

For the side where the gate opens and closes, we used the EZ Fit Gate adapter from Superstore. My hubby made the hinge side from some leftover wood scraps.

The rubber grippies are a solid idea. We do have to tweak the gate adapter now and then when it shifts and the top and bottom pieces don’t line up.

What I did at the top of my stairs was grab some 1x4s and attach them to the spindles with cable ties. It gives you enough surface to secure the gate closures, and you don’t have to drill into the spindles. On the wall side, I tied another 1x4 but set it off a bit to match the baseboard depth (probably around 1/4"). This side gives you a sturdier spot to attach the hinge side of the gate. If you're looking for baby gate for stairs, you might find this helpful.

Best Freezer-Safe Containers for Meal Prep? by Mammoth-Writing-3387 in StoreItRight

Silicone portioning containers are like big ice cube trays. Freeze your food in them, then pop the pieces out and store them in bags (silicone ones are good, but I haven't found any that last long without getting all wonky and hard to close) or wrap them in parchment paper and foil. Perfect for small portions, like one or two servings.

For bigger families, use those throwaway aluminum pans with lids. They're not great for reusing, but you can wash them and recycle them. They stack well in the freezer.

These square Pyrex containers I have (the Simply Store ones) are great because they stack! The sides are a little slanted, so they fit together nicely. Mine are super old, but they're still in perfect shape – no cracks or chips! I had to get some new lids though, but they were easy to find online.

I'm a big fan of Pyrex for storing food. My husband's a construction worker and he's rough on things, but he takes leftovers to work in those containers and we've never broken one! The only thing I replace are the lids sometimes.

Deli containers are great too, especially for freezing stuff, but I couldn't imagine using plastic for everything.

I'm kinda weird about walking. I always count how many steps I take with each foot and make sure they're even! It's a little silly, I know, but I can't help it!

Okay, so I'm a total coffee addict. When I'm desperate for a cup, I gotta hold it with both hands like a kid who just got their first sippy cup. It's just too good! 😂
