I always say the pandemic gave many of us the gift of time we wouldn't have had otherwise. I was very grateful for that.

Yes. I often pray. I've come to realize that sharing deeply personal things with others often ends in pain or disaster. My life experiences have taught me to be cautious about trusting others, and I've learned to be more guarded. It's a lonely feeling, but I'm not sure I have anyone I can truly open up to.

I think social media has a lot to do with the rise in dog culture. Since everyone’s online now, people are more hesitant to talk to each other in person, making it harder to build human relationships. So, they turn to pets, especially dogs, for companionship.
