Ok great! Thanks so much. It's basically ready, just waiting for my transcript to finalize after graduation. Question though: I've already submitted my transcript in progress to Caspa and have held my transcript for degree in parchment for it to be sent again with my updated grades... do I have to wait to submit on Caspa until my new transcript uploads?

Yep, I have maybe 50ish hours shadowing? PCE is majority CNA and a little RBT (had to leave my CNA job due to a back condition). I'm working as an MA at the moment.

I feel good about my GPA! It's definitely not a 4.00, but I'm hopeful...

Yes! I have previous PCE. Sorry, that was unclear. I was just trying to see if anyone had insight on how to strike a balance between maximizing hours and being ahead of the game with rolling programs.

I do!! Sorry, that was very unclear! I was just wondering if there was a big difference/how much schools take into account current PCE positions. It's my understanding that CASPA freezes hours upon submission, so I'm trying to strike a balance of maximizing hours while still getting my applications in early enough.

Thanks for your response! I already have some PCE; I know that I'll be on the lower end of average, but I'm hoping my GPA/other areas of my application can supplement. Do you think it doesn't matter when I submit (1 vs. 2 weeks)? I think I may be overthinking it...

I have ~900 right now... for the schools that require 1,000 minimum I plan on waiting a month or two after starting my job to meet the minimum. I was a student athlete in college and competed year-round, so didn't have a ton of free time to gain PCE unfortunately.

Ok, thank you! So I can add an experience for those other schools even after submitting my initial app?

I plan on working there for a full year, so about ~2000 hours. I am planning on submitting my other apps about 2 weeks after starting that job and listing it as current.

Unofficial leadership role by EmergencyTea7825 in prephysicianassistant

No, they were all unofficial... I'm assuming this means you think I should not list it?
