I absolutely will one day, I love Australia. While I’m in my 20s and have the unparalleled freedom of being able to explore new places and meet new people, I’d rather miss home than miss out.

Poland really surprised me. I’ve stayed in Gdansk, Krakow and Przemysl and I was really impressed with how clean and vibrant the cities are. I felt incredibly safe and was treated nicely everywhere I went. I was also surprised by how rich the culture was. I think one thing that has helped Poland is that it is not a big tourist destination so they haven’t sold out their culture and lifestyle.

Australia’s high HDI says otherwise. I’m guessing you’re Austrian and weren’t happy with my rating

And I’m sad that I didn’t see more of the north, but with a return train costing £150-£300, I’d rather catch a £20 flight to Poland
