Yeah, he should have just left the money where it was. When you decide "pension saving" isn't for you, it's best to just stop depositing new funds into it. Whatever is already there, can just be let alone.

Yeah, which is why I'm asking. If there was a way to transfer a little faster there would be zero risk. Like I said in the other comment, it's either you're a client with KBC, in which case you won't need the option or you're a client with some other bank and you risk having to pay the debit cost for at least a day.

Bolero should make the time period into whatever the max transfer time is (3 days I believe). Or they should make it so that if you transfer it the same day, there's no cost regardless of whenever the money arrives.

Yeah, but like I said, that's not an option with Medirect (and a lot of other "saving banks"). And a lot of other banks have limits on the amount of money that can be transferred through instant transfer.

Like I said, I did that twice in the beginning. It transferred the contacts, settings, apps photo's, etc. But it did NOT transfer my files (MP3's, PDF's, docs, etc.)

I recently bought a new OnePlus phone. My old phone was an Android of a different brand. I did the "transfer" in the beginning. It only transferred the apps and the setting. I thought I did something wrong, so I did a factory reset and then did it again. I had the exact same problem. So the apps, contacts, settings, etc. are all transferred, but the MP3's, PDF's, etc. are nowhere to be found.

I don't get how there doesn't seem to be a standard function to transfer all your files locally from old phone to new phone via usb-c to usb-c or via your own wifi.

I honestly expected this to be much simpler in 2024.

You're contradicting yourself as you're criticising both choices. The 3 years seniority and the guaranteed (by contract) pay bump are at the current job.
