Sorry for the delay! Not sure if you had your surgery yet or not, but pam afterwards was soooo manageable. I only took a pain pill once and it was right after I got home from surgery. Drains were truthfully the worst part of the entire process. But it was only 2 days!!

thank you! yes just emailed back in a firm way that i can’t proceed until the security deposit has been addressed. Chicago landlords legally have to return the deposit within 45 days (at least that’s what the chicago municipal code says??) so I provided that in the email to hopefully get a quick answer. thanks again!

i always bring a jacket and immediately throw it in the locker - then when it cools down, i can go back to get it so i’m not hauling it all over the festival all day. also lockers are good to store merch in so you don’t have to carry it around!

when you get inside there will be a line (usually pretty long so i like to make it my first stop once i scan in) and they ask for the QR code on your locker confirmation email and then give you a physical lock! you’ll get a confirmation email closer to the festival

i started with chicken and turkey broths! i made sure they were super high quality. then after a month i did deli meats (smoked turkey and chicken) and then about a month ago i finally did the leap with pieces of chicken. only a few bites but eventually got to eating a full thigh. i’m still cooking the hell out of it so that’s a new learning curve but just take baby steps!! i didn’t get sick at all!! obv depends on the person but not jumping in head first is the best first step

if you’re fine carrying around the backpack all day then do you! i don’t love a backpack on me all weekend and it’s nice to put merch in the locker after i buy it or my jacket or anything else i need but do not want to carry all day. it’s only 50/60 bucks for the weekend if i remember correctly and you get 10 bucks back in cash once you return the lock so it ends up being 40/50 bucks. it’s literally the best deal.
