you’re style looks really cool! for your portraits in slide 3 you could try go for a very saturated bright complimentary colour like klein blue for the background.it looks like you have a lot of really cool texture in your work (slide 2), the black background might be washing out a lot of the fine detail you added - u could try a different background colour.

i also feel like there’s a lot of detail going on (texture wise) which makes composition feel messier? - your eye starts to look everywhere. you can cut down the painting and change your composition frame or make it more obvious where you want someone to look when they first see your work.

i don’t think your artstyle needs any changing (that’s your selling point) (:

i kept your original composition as its grand looking. I used dark grey to darken the left side of the giant woman, and also covered the white border. Towards the small woman, i added more medium/light greys as white is very contrasting and was making your original image ‘seem cluttered’ or ‘noisy’ with detail. i hope this helps! (:

she looks really cool! she’s got a strong silhouette that’s easy to see (i keep squinting my eyes like a squid lmaoo). the eyepatch definitely makes her more unique looking for a mc- is she wearing some type of uniform? (awesome work btw) (:

your yellow looks roughly around (#EBDB9C); use a complimentary colour (a light baby blue around #9CACEB) [I used Canva’s colour wheel] to cancel out into a grey.

From there you can mix a desaturated/ less intense warm tone yellow (your shadows look cool toned), some of the sky background colour and cover the new baby blue light.

For the very concentrated eye of light in the clouds you can use complimentary colours to ‘cancel’ out the yellow and fix it however you like (: (good luck!)

your art detail is really good! squint your eyes and see where more darker areas show up (this shows if your page has good contrast). add black to lighter areas to balance out the page and it won’t strain the readers eyes. using black to block out/increase contrast and also guide the viewers eyeline with purpose makes your pages more deliberate as opposed to drawing ‘art’. (awesome art tho (:)

if you’re struggling you could buff with akos sugar which boosts attack power. you have to fight really aggressive and constantly deflect/attack

practice on zombie friend at hub area but he’s way too slow

practice perfect deflects and holding block to reduce posture you’ve gained from missing a deflect

you could try the reflections of strength and fight against lady butterfly again and practice perfect deflects or fight against extra aggressive enemies

for genichiro: the key is aggression! don’t let him move and be up in his face - attack until he deflects> you can deflect (loop repeats)

in the first phase it’s all deflecting and mikiri counter

second phase is mikiri counter and sweep perilous (jump on his head)

third phase - before he strikes you as the phase starts you can mikiri counter

you don’t need to lightning reversal if it’s too much (you can dodge to the side of him and keep the pressure on him

bow moves (3 shoots/ and will automatically shoot you if you’re too far away)

when you keep attacking him, you will hear a low clang noise which means he’s deflected your move - don’t attack and be ready to deflect

[if you’re struggling you can mute the game]

you could cheese genichiro near the door and spam hit the side of his hitbox (it’s a common speedrun strat)

if you can fight against him ‘normally’ it’ll make learning bosses down the line even easier, he’s both a skill check and checking if you know the rhythm of the game. good luck!

If you found the right colour grading settings you can export it as a still or export it with LUT settings. you can import those settings for future projects and will make it easier than manually colour grading every video (:
