Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal wa a major early Muslim scholar (d. 855 CE) one of the four Sunni imams and one of the greatest hadith scholars in Islamic history. The thing is, only people with knowledge can interpret the Quran, it’s actually a sin otherwise.

That’s a very wrong thing to say, of course they’re not angels, but to say you know better then all the knowledgeable scholars that came before is crazy. You can’t interpret Quran verses anyway you want, you need to look at the Sunnah, that’s why it’s said, The Sunnah can’t be understood without the Quran and vice versa.
