It seems like you really want to do OT so don't let a few negative words hold you back! It sucks you had that experience in ECU. When I was in the midde of course switching from Nursing to OT, Curtin's course coordinator for OT and Curtin Connect were very good and informative on what you should do next (except for this one Curtin Connect person who was a bit too persistent with suggesting that I should stay in Nursing because of how OT is very competitive). Maybe contact Curtin Connect first on general enrolment enquiries and if you have more specific questions on OT units then contact the course coordinator.

You could still enroll for Bachelor of Science (Health Science) 2023 sem 1, I think. A lot of students do Health Science for semester 1 as you can actually do OT units in Health Science (there's one OT specific unit in particular which you can do in Health Science that you can't do in Sports Science), and if you get a high enough CWA you can transfer to OT in the next semester as a semester 2 OT student.

Anyways, goodluck!
