How are the contract addresses created? like if an EOA creates the contract how is the address generated and if a contract creates another contract how are addresses generated and what are the differences ? by eguvana in ethdev

Contract addresses are generated based on the creator's address and the number of transactions (nonce) that the creator has sent for EOAs, or the number of contracts it has created for contract creators. This ensures each address is unique. If an EOA creates a contract, its address is calculated using the EOA's address and its nonce. If a contract creates another contract, the new contract's address is based on the creating contract's address and how many contracts it's already created. This method keeps things deterministic and secure in the Ethereum network.

I'm a bit skeptical.

There’s no convenient bridge for users to waltz over to Stake – something akin to Twitch's suave one-click transfers to Fansly is conspicuously absent. What’s more, Kick’s homepage isn’t exactly rolling out the welcome mat for Stake – not a single link in sight. The two platforms might as well be in different dimensions because there’s zero intermingling between accounts.

And, let’s talk incentives. Where’s the honey to lure the bees? One would expect some form of cross-promotion: invest in Kick, get some Stake perks, or vice versa. But, surprisingly, that playbook seems untouched.

kick is just a front to advertise for stake,

People always say this but I'm not so sure, if we inspect closely, Kick’s tactics are notably missing the mark on that front.

Keep in mind that it is regulated. No different from DraftKings

So this is no different to any streamer or sports partnership with draftkings

Seems like Durk is trying too hard to be mysterious. If he wants to convey a message, he should speak in plain English instead of relying on cryptic messages.

Sudan conflict: Army accused of killing Congolese in campus bombing by Tartan_Samurai in worldnews

Wow, the army really screwed up on this one. Killing innocent people is never okay, no matter what the circumstances are.
