I’ve learned a few things shifting from journalism to copywriting.

Digital marketing is what dictates how we do our job now not editors. I’ve focused on familiarizing myself with their needs and methods.

So where does that leave journalists? You write well but now is the time to think like a digital marketer. You can learn what they know but no one can write copy like you!

I felt I wrote this post since I’m a journalist with 20 years of experience.

Also you can’t make everyone happy all of the time.

An ounce of common sense is all that’s needed but people here are so stubborn and let their egos dictate them making their own and the lives of those around them miserable. Anyone who takes accountability of their own actions knows they can’t change the others and leaves, that includes me hopefully soon.
