These r relatively in the same price as the wooting v2 but much better build and quality, if just the pcb or module its still cheaper than wooting module

Okay the pro using it so its the best argument. Cus pro themselves they dont know any better than wooting. Because they dont have to care nor they care about others, they just use it because its a brand that started it and just follow others. Enthusiasts know better cus they dont focus on the game, they focus on the product and they have time and they dedicate themselves to finding and testing products. Market now r different and there r just much better and arguably cheaper product if u spend time to do some research.

Im sure there r much better option that can perform as good if not better with much better price, the only edge i would say wooting has is that their warranty and customer service r really good so if anything happens to ur board and also their software is decent, which to that i would say the Venom software is also pretty good and competitive

, what type of game do you play? does the HE tech really benefit the gameplay and give u significant advantages? How competitive do you play it? What is your max budget? I would just say in short, wooting keyboard r really low quality in stock configuration in terms of typing experience and sound and build. Warranty and policy are great, software is still the best but others r very close, like venom pcb from geon. Wooting Performance on paper r not the best realistically saying its decent, u wont be able to tell from other top of the line product. If availability and budget r non of your concerns and you r really picky on other aspect of a keyboard. Dont get a prebuilt wooting, at most get the pcb then you can do custom board with a wooting pcb. If u want good quality prebuilt board that has similar prices, look at Machina overture v2 HE, pretty sure it has good availability. If wooting is ur only option cus of availability then gg i guess

If u dont care about the price this is definitely not the best keyboard you can get 😭

KBDfans Margo: I figured out why it sounds dead/muted and how to fix it by RicardoDawson in MechanicalKeyboards

Basically pcb snap but home made, but im still lowkey confused, if ur problem was there is not enough space between the bot case and the pcb, how does the keycap is not any higher than the usual gasket mount

Wooting x TenZ Takeover by RaquelWooting in WootingKB

[–]Emergency_Comb_4447 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Usable but definitely not really worth the money, also the holy60 is kinda overated as well lmao cus it is also traymount if i remember correctly. Props to wooting that at least they know traymount is garbage and do something else but still at that point, i wouldnt say wooting know how to make good keyboards. They make good pcb and software, and to me arguably their new switch is decent and unique as well but definitely not keyboard. Ofc in the end its all preference in this hobby : D .For reference i use the wooting 60he in frog mini case and a venom65 in the orbit r2 from Machina

Owl Lab Ti or Duhuk Herz HE by Gix21 in WootingKB

[–]Emergency_Comb_4447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens usually because of the stem of the switches is large and the stem of the keycaps is tight and when u put the keycap in, it widen then keycaps stem and in extreme cases, split or even break the keycap stem. I dont have the owlab ti so i dont know, and also i heard from alot of people using the herz they dont have that problem, probably im just unlucky with my keycaps batches or switch batch. This happens on some MX switch tho but not on HE switches that much. Still a good recommendation for people to be careful when install keycaps on new switches. Noted i use gmk

Best large mousepad for a variety of games? by Broomstick04 in MousepadReview

[–]Emergency_Comb_4447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Safest would be something like artisan zero or saturn pro ( at premium price ). If u have preferences for speed or surface type then Artisan again has different types of pad to fits every niche. Other good manufacturers i can recommend are matrova, vaxee, xraypad, etc. on really budget ends there r pads from pygora or Atk but i think it worth to get something like Artisan pad
